Working Principle
Relying on the suction force generated at the inlet during the rotation of two synchronously rotating counter-rotating rotors, the emulsion and other materials to be transported are sucked in. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces. As the rotors operate, the medium in these small spaces is sealed and gradually transported to the outlet.
Features
Good conveying performance: It can precisely control the conveying flow rate and can be made into a variable displacement pump. It has a strong self-priming ability, can output the emulsion stably without damaging its components. It can convey high-viscosity emulsions with a viscosity ≤ 2.5 million cp, and can also convey emulsions containing solid particles, with the solid content reaching up to 60%.
Energy-saving and efficient: It operates at a low speed and has high efficiency, saving more than 30% energy compared with screw pumps and gear pumps.
Long service life: There is a certain gap between the rotors and between the rotors and the pump casing, without mutual friction or wear. Even after long-term use, there will be no serious wear. It operates stably with low noise.
Reliable sealing: Due to the low rotation speed, it is not easy to generate high temperature on the sealing surface, with little wear and a long service life.
Diverse functions: A jacket insulation device can be installed, and the temperature adaptation range is 0°C - 250°C. It also provides a variety of transmission forms for selection and various forms of rotors such as single-lobe, double-lobe, and three-lobe.
Convenient maintenance: There is a wear-resistant bushing in the pump body. The pump casing materials can be selected from high-performance cast iron, ductile iron, or stainless steel. The adoption of the MIP design greatly extends the service life of the pump. It is simple to disassemble and assemble, convenient for maintenance and cleaning, and has few vulnerable parts.
Application Fields
In the daily-use industry, it can be used to transport alcohol ethers, glycerin, facial cleansers, facial washes, shampoos, hand sanitizers, cosmetics, toothpaste, etc. In the food field, it can transport chocolate, condensed milk, yogurt, honey, jam, etc. In the pharmaceutical industry, it can transport various ointments, extracts, pharmaceutical emulsions, syrups, etc.
Consideration Factors for Model Selection
Flow rate and pressure: Determine the flow rate and pressure parameters of the pump according to the requirements of the emulsion conveying volume, conveying distance, height, etc. in actual production.
Medium characteristics: Consider the characteristics of the emulsion such as viscosity, solid content, corrosiveness, and temperature, and select appropriate rotor materials, pump casing materials, and sealing forms.
Drive mode: Select an electric, pneumatic, or other drive modes according to the on-site power supply situation and usage requirements.
Installation space: Select an emulsion cam rotor pump with an appropriate structure and size according to the size of the installation location space.
