Common Types
The lubrication pump of the 1400-type cone crusher often uses an internal meshing gear pump, such as the NCB-7 type. This type of pump belongs to an internal meshing rotor pump, which has a strong self-priming ability, and is small in size, light in weight, with small pulsation, low noise and smooth operation.
Working Principle
The lubrication pump is mainly composed of components such as the pump body, gears, shaft, bearings, front cover, rear cover, sealing components, and coupling. There are two forms of shaft end seals: packing seal and mechanical seal. When the meshing gears rotate inside the pump body, the gear teeth continuously enter and exit the meshing state. In the suction chamber, the gear teeth gradually exit the meshing state, the volume of the suction chamber gradually increases, the pressure decreases, and the liquid enters the suction chamber under the action of the liquid surface pressure and enters the discharge chamber along with the spaces between the gear teeth. In the discharge chamber, the gear teeth gradually enter the meshing state again, the spaces between the gear teeth are gradually occupied by the gear teeth, the volume of the discharge chamber decreases, the pressure of the liquid in the discharge chamber increases, and thus the liquid is discharged out of the pump from the pump's discharge port. As the gears rotate continuously, the above process proceeds continuously, forming a continuous oil delivery process.
Function in the Lubrication System
The cone crusher adopts thin oil circulation lubrication, and the lubrication pump is an important part of the lubrication system. It sucks in the lubricating oil from the oil tank, and through components such as the stop valve, filter, and cooler, it delivers the lubricating oil to various lubrication points of the cone crusher, such as the eccentric bushing, main shaft, spherical bearing, transmission bearing, etc., lubricating the surfaces that are in contact with each other and have relative motion, reducing friction, reducing equipment wear, and ensuring the normal operation of the equipment.
Related Technical Parameters
The technical parameters of lubrication pumps of different models vary. Taking the NCB-7/0.3 type as an example, its flow rate may be 7L/min, and the rated pressure is 0.3MPa.
Key Points of Maintenance
Regularly check the working status of the lubrication pump, including sound, vibration, temperature, etc. If there is any abnormality, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
Replace the lubricating oil and the filter element on time to prevent impurities from entering the lubrication system and affecting the normal operation of the lubrication pump.
Check the sealing condition of the pump. If there is any leakage, deal with it in a timely manner to avoid waste and environmental pollution caused by the leakage of lubricating oil.
Regularly clean the lubrication pump to keep the surface of the pump body clean.
