Working Principle
Liquid Suction by Volume Change: There is usually an eccentric bump in the pump cavity. When the flexible blades move away from the eccentric bump, the volume between the blades continuously increases, creating a vacuum state. This enables the liquid to be continuously sucked into the inlet part of the pump cavity under the action of atmospheric pressure.
Liquid Conveyance by Rotation: When the flexible blades rotate, the liquid is carried from the suction part of the pump cavity to the discharge part.
Liquid Discharge by Extrusion: When the flexible blades come into contact with the eccentric bump again, they bend and are accompanied by an extrusion action, causing the liquid to be discharged from the pump cavity continuously and without pulsation, thus completing the entire process of suction and discharge.
Structural Features
Flexible Blades: The blades are made of flexible materials, which have good flexibility, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance. They can adapt to media of different properties. When in contact with the eccentric bump and the pump cavity, they can effectively reduce wear and noise while ensuring good sealing performance.
Eccentric Structure: An internal eccentric bump is installed, which cooperates with the flexible blades. Through the relative movement between the blades and the eccentric bump, the periodic change of the volume in the pump cavity is realized, thereby completing the suction and discharge of the liquid.
Simple and Compact: The overall structure is relatively simple. It is usually composed of main components such as the pump body, eccentric bump, flexible blades, and drive shaft. There are no complex valves and sealing devices, occupying a small floor area and being convenient for installation and maintenance.
Performance Parameters
Flow Rate: Generally speaking, the flow rate of a 25-caliber flexible rotor pump is relatively small, possibly around 1 to 5 cubic meters per hour. However, the specific flow rate is also affected by factors such as the pump's rotational speed and the viscosity of the medium.
Head: The head can usually reach about 10 to 30 meters, which can meet some medium and low-height conveying requirements.
Self-priming Height: It has good self-priming ability, and the self-priming height can generally reach 4 to 6 meters.
Rotational Speed: The rotational speed is usually adjustable between 100 revolutions per minute and 500 revolutions per minute, and users can adjust it according to actual conveying requirements.
Medium Viscosity: It can convey media with relatively high viscosity, generally up to 5000 centipoises.
