Structural Features


Material: High-quality stainless steel 304 or 316 is usually used as the material for the pump casing, which has good corrosion resistance and is suitable for a variety of chemical media and harsh environments. Working Principle


The gear metering pump operates through a pair of meshing gears. One is the driving gear, and the other is the driven gear. The driven gear is driven by the driving gear to rotate in mesh. There is a relatively small clearance between the gears and the pump casing. When the gears rotate, in the suction chamber where the gear teeth gradually disengage, the enclosed volume between the teeth increases, forming a local vacuum. Under the action of the pressure difference, the liquid is sucked into the suction chamber. As the gears rotate, the liquid is pushed forward by the gears in two paths between the gears and the casing and sent to the discharge chamber. In the discharge chamber, the two gears gradually mesh, the volume decreases, and the liquid between the gears is squeezed to the discharge port.
