High-viscosity Liquid Materials
One of the core advantages of the screw pump filling machine is its ability to handle high-viscosity liquids. Food sauces such as yellow butter, peanut butter, and chocolate sauce have relatively high viscosities and poor fluidity. The working principle of the screw pump enables it to effectively overcome the resistance caused by high viscosity. For example, the viscosity of yellow butter is usually high. The screw pump forms sealed chambers through the rotation of twin screws, creates a low pressure at the inlet to suck in the yellow butter, and then squeezes it into the packaging containers at the outlet, thus being able to smoothly transport the yellow butter for filling.
Moreover, for some high-viscosity liquids used in industry, such as glue and sealant, whose viscosities may be tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of centipoise (cps), the screw pump filling machine can also perform filling very well to ensure that the materials can be accurately filled into the containers.
Semi-fluid Materials Containing Particles
The screw pump filling machine also has excellent applicability for semi-fluid materials containing particles. For example, for some fruit jam containing fruit pulp particles, during the transportation process, due to the special structure of the screws and the relatively slow rotation speed (which can be adjusted according to the particle size and material characteristics), the screw pump can avoid excessive squeezing and damage to the particles.
For sauces containing crushed nuts, during the filling process, the screw pump can ensure that the particles are evenly distributed in the materials and will not precipitate or aggregate due to violent stirring or transportation, thus achieving high-quality filling.
Paste-like Materials
Paste-like materials such as toothpaste, ointment, and paste-like cosmetics are also suitable for the screw pump filling machine. Taking toothpaste as an example, it has a certain consistency and shape retention. The screw pump can accurately control the filling volume. Meanwhile, due to the self-priming ability and stable transportation performance of the screw pump, it can ensure that the toothpaste is smoothly sucked in from the inlet and transported to the outlet for filling, and precise filling operations can be carried out according to different packaging specification requirements (such as small travel-sized packages or family-sized packages, etc.).
For medical paste-like materials such as ointment, the screw pump filling machine can meet strict hygiene standard requirements and can achieve a relatively high level of filling accuracy to ensure the accurate dosage of each tube of ointment, which is very important for drug quality control.
