Features
Structural Performance: It has a simple structure and small size, allows for high rotational speeds, operates stably and reliably, has low pressure pulsation, stable flow, low noise, and high efficiency.
Medium Adaptability: It is suitable for transporting various non-corrosive oils and oil-like liquids. The viscosity of the transported liquid is generally within the range of 30 - 760 mm²/s. High-viscosity media can be transported after reducing their viscosity by heating, and the temperature generally does not exceed 350 °C.
Sealing Performance: Mechanical seals are adopted. Different materials are selected for the friction parts of the mechanical seals according to different media. For high-viscosity media, cemented carbide materials with high mechanical strength and good wear resistance are selected to ensure the sealing performance under high temperatures.
Working Principle
Based on the principle of screw meshing, relying on the rotating screws that mesh with each other inside the pump casing, the medium to be transported is sealed within the meshing cavity and continuously and uniformly pushed along the axial direction of the screws to the discharge port, providing a stable pressure for the system.
Structure
It consists of a middle screw and two driven screws on both sides. The threads of both the main and driven screws are double-start threads, which enables several dynamic sealing chambers to be formed between the inlet and outlet of the pump. These dynamic sealing chambers move the liquid axially from the inlet to the outlet of the pump and make it pressurize step by step.
Application Fields
It is widely used in various industries such as petroleum, chemical fiber, metallurgy, machinery, electric power, machine tools, ships, glass, and highway construction. It is suitable for transporting fuel oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, heavy oil, asphalt, and other lubricating liquids similar to oil.
Precautions for Model Selection
Selection of Rotational Speed: It should be determined according to the viscosity of the transported medium and the specifications of the pump to ensure the service life and working efficiency of the pump.
Selection of Structure: It should be comprehensively considered according to the properties and temperature of the transported medium and other factors to meet the requirements of different working conditions. For example, for high-viscosity media, it is recommended to use screw pumps with a heat preservation structure.
