The three-lobe rotor pump is a positive displacement pump. The following is a detailed introduction to it:

Working Principle


The three-lobe rotor pump relies on two synchronously moving rotors, which are driven by a pair of external synchronous gearboxes. The rotors rotate synchronously in opposite directions under the drive of the transmission shaft, thus creating a relatively high vacuum degree and discharge pressure. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces, and they operate in a certain order. When operating at different positions, each small space is respectively in a state of being filled with the medium, sealed with the medium, or communicating with the inlet and outlet, so that the medium can be continuously conveyed out.

The three-lobe rotor pump is especially suitable for conveying media that are prone to foaming during the conveying process as well as those with high viscosity, concentration, and containing particles. The materials conveyed by it maintain their original quality unchanged, without any physical or chemical reactions. The conveying flow rate can be controlled relatively accurately, and it can be used as a metering pump.
