The cam rotor pump is an advanced fluid equipment. The following is a detailed introduction to it:
Working Principle
The cam rotor pump generates suction (vacuum degree) at the inlet during the rotation process by relying on two synchronously and reversely rotating rotors, thereby sucking in the materials to be conveyed. The two rotors divide the rotor chamber into several small spaces and operate in a certain order. During the operation process, the medium is gradually conveyed to the discharge port within these small spaces. For example, when the rotor rotates to a certain position, only one chamber is filled with the medium, and when it moves to the next position, part of the medium is enclosed in another chamber. This cycle enables the continuous conveyance of the medium.
Product Features
Good Abrasion Resistance: The rotors are fully covered with rubber, having strong abrasion resistance. Moreover, with the continuous upgrading of the rubber material, its resistance to the abrasiveness and corrosiveness of the medium is also continuously improved, thus broadening the application range of the cam rotor pump.
Strong Self-Suction and High Head Capacity: The special structural design endows it with strong self-suction ability. There is no need for priming or filling the pump with liquid. It can start to draw water within a short time after being turned on. It is applicable to various complex fluid media. Meanwhile, it also has a relatively high head, which can meet the requirements of long-distance or high-resistance conveyance.
No Clogging and Strong Passageability: Common plastic bags, woven bags, sand and gravel, mud, hair and other debris will not affect the use of the pump. It can effectively prevent the impurities in the medium from clogging the pump body and ensure the smoothness of the conveyance process.
Smooth Operation: The high-precision clearance fit between the rotors and the casing, along with no other frictional movements except for the bearings and gears, enables the pump body to operate smoothly, without vibration, with high mechanical efficiency and a long service life.
Good Sealing Performance: Special mechanical seals developed by famous domestic mechanical seal experts are adopted. The structure of the sealing surface is unique, with sufficient lubrication, no air resistance, and sufficient convection of the cooling medium. It can effectively prevent dry grinding, high temperature, cracking and failure of the sealing surface, ensuring the normal operation of the pump unit.
Integrated Control System: The project adopts an advanced embedded system to develop an intelligent control system, realizing intelligent monitoring. It can monitor the running status of the pump in real time, improving the reliability and stability of the operation.
Application Fields
Petroleum Industry: It can be used for the exploitation, storage and transportation of crude oil, heavy oil, thick oil, fuel oil, polymers, suspended solids, latex and gas-liquid-solid mixtures, etc.
Municipal Industry: It is suitable for metering lime slurry, activated carbon, flocculants, conveying primary sludge, concentrated sludge, digested sludge, conditioned sludge, precipitated sludge, scum and dewatered sludge cakes, etc., playing an important role in fields such as sewage treatment and urban waterlogging drainage.
Fire Protection Field: The characteristics of strong self-suction and high head make it suitable for long-distance water source fire-fighting water intake from rivers and lakes.
Paper-making Industry: It can convey pulp, suspensions, printing and dyeing slurries, coatings, fibers, inks, viscose fluids, etc., ensuring the stable conveyance of materials and improving production efficiency.
Food Industry: It can be used for the conveyance of jams, dairy products, fiber syrups, syrups and food raw materials, original fluids, etc., meeting the requirements of the food industry for hygiene and quality.
Shipyards and Docks: It can handle ship sewage, bilge sludge, marine oil spills, and convey crude oil, lubricating oil, chemical raw materials, etc.
