Basic performance parameters of high pressure gear pump

High pressure pump (or hydraulic motor) in the use of the commonly used basic performance parameters are: pressure P, P (dimension for Pa, or 10 _5bar), flow rate Q (1 / rain), discharge Q (ml/r), N power (kw), torque (N, m), rotational speed N (nad/s;RPM or r/min) and efficiency.

For high pressure gear pump, the input energy is the product of torque and speed (i.e., M • infinity), and the output energy is the product of oil pressure and flow (1lp P Q).For hydraulic motors, the opposite is true. When the high pressure gear pump or hydraulic motor is in its energy conversion process, if there is no energy loss, their power expression will be N=M· infinity or N=p Q.The working pressure of high pressure gear pump refers to its output pressure. That is, oil must be built up to overcome resistance (including pipe resistance, friction resistance of moving parts and external load, etc.).When the resistance increases, the pressure increases I and vice versa. This means that the working pressure of high pressure gear pump depends on the external load.

In the specification of high pressure gear pump, there are two kinds of regulations about pressure, i. e. rated pressure and maximum pressure.

Rated pressure refers to the maximum allowable pressure for continuous operation of the pump under the premise of ensuring the volumetric efficiency, service life and rated speed of the pump.

Maximum pressure refers to the limit pressure allowed by the pump overload in a short period of time, which is mainly determined by the sealing performance and the strength of parts.

The rated pressure and the maximum pressure are not the actual pressure of the pump.Due to the purpose of the hydraulic system is different, the required oil pressure of each different, often pressure can be divided into five levels, namely the low voltage (less than 25 bar), medium (25 80 bar), medium high voltage (80-160 bar), and high pressure (160 ~ 320 bar) and ultra-high voltage (more than 39 bar).
