The main components of YCB circular arc gear oil pump include shaft, bearing shell, shaft end seal, pump body, pump cover, gear, etc. When manufacturing gears, a double arc sine curve tooth profile is used. Compared with involute gears, its advantages are that there is no relative sliding of the tooth surface during gear meshing, smooth operation, no leakage, low noise, and long tooth surface life. Gear pumps have broken away from traditional designs, opening up a new field in the design, production, and use of gear pumps. There are many details to consider when starting and sealing the YCB gear oil pump. Any problem in any link may lead to equipment failure. Let's take a look at the precautions to be taken when starting the YCB gear pump
what time?During the first 15 minutes of the start-up process, the packing seal, especially PTFE, should be adjusted evenly to allow for initial leakage. Adjust one circle each time, about 8 times to reduce leakage. If the leakage suddenly drops and the temperature of the packing box rises sharply, loosen the nut and restart.
2. Before starting the YCB series gear pump, the discharge valve and suction valve should be opened first. At the same time, the inlet and outlet valves should be fully opened. After starting the pump, the outlet valve can be gradually adjusted to the required flow rate, and the pump can be started at zero flow to avoid motor overload and burnout during startup.
3. After briefly starting the motor, check whether the rotation direction of the YCB gear pump is consistent with the direction marked on the pump casing.
4. To prevent damage to the stator of the YCB gear oil pump during start-up or long-term storage, the auxiliary tool should be filled with the conveyed liquid first, and then the pump shaft should be rotated a few times. However, it should be noted that the gear pump cannot be started without liquid, otherwise the stator will be damaged.
5. After the machine is running, check whether the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge readings meet the specifications. Also, listen to the noise and vibration emitted by the pump. If any readings are abnormal, please stop the machine immediately and conduct a check.
6. When the YCB arc gear oil pump stops running, the motor should be turned off first, and the inlet and outlet valves should be closed. If the shutdown time is long, the liquid in the pipeline and pump should be drained to prevent corrosion and winter icing.
The switch on the pump outlet valve can adjust the flow rate as needed. Although greater power is required to increase fluid resistance, the flow rate can still be adjusted and further modifications can be made to adapt to the characteristics of chemical production. Be careful not to change the opening of the inlet valve of the pump for control, as this may cause "cavitation" phenomenon, which usually occurs when the pump body is subjected to impact, vibration, noise, and low flow rate. In severe cases, this may prevent the pump from functioning properly.
