The working principle of a magnetic gear pump is to arrange and assemble n pairs of magnets (n is even) according to the rule on the inner and outer magnetic rotors of the magnetic transmission, so that the magnets locally form a fully coupled magnetic system. Because the magnetic poles of the magnetic system are mutually displaced, the magnetic force will restore the magnet to its lowest magnetic energy state. So the magnet becomes active, driving the magnetic rotor to rotate. How many key steps can be considered when selecting a magnetic gear pump to ensure engineering quality, based on the current production status of magnetic gear pumps and the development of magnetic materials and sliding bearings
1. For pumps with a power of less than 10KW, choosing a magnetic gear pump can ensure application effectiveness.
2. When the shaft power of the pump is greater than 10KW or the medium temperature is higher than 100 ℃, the selection of domestic magnetic gear pumps should be handled with caution, and limitations should be imposed on the material of the magnetic steel, bearing material, and structure.
3. At present, some domestic magnetic gear pump manufacturers are small and medium-sized, and their development and research capabilities are relatively thin. For pumps that exceed the scope of product parameters, it is generally not advisable to entrust the manufacturer to research or develop them in order to ensure project quality and progress.
4. The quality of magnetic steel material is related to the service life, reliability, and price of the pump. When ordering, the magnetic steel material, supplier, and their functional indicators should be clearly specified. The material and lifespan of sliding bearings should also be understood.
In this way, the selected magnetic gear pump not only has high efficiency, but also has its own unique properties such as preventing particles from entering, avoiding demagnetization, and preventing dry friction, which can achieve twice the result with half the effort for engineering. Magnetic gear pumps are widely used in industries such as petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, electroplating, environmental protection, water treatment, film and television printing, and national defense for pumping flammable, explosive, toxic, and precious liquids due to their fully sealed, leak free, and corrosion-resistant characteristics.
