2. The circular arc gear pump and motor do not require alignment during installation, making installation very convenient.
3. Tighten the anchor bolts during installation to avoid the impact of vibration on pump performance during start-up.
4. Before installing the water pump, carefully inspect the pump passage for any hard objects (such as stones, iron particles, etc.) that may affect the operation of the pump, in order to prevent damage to the impeller and pump body during operation.
5. For the convenience of maintenance and use, a regulating valve is installed on the inlet and outlet pipelines of the pump, and a pressure gauge is installed near the pump outlet to ensure that it operates within the rated head and flow range, ensuring the normal operation of the pump and increasing its service life.
6. The circular arc gear pump is used in suction applications and should be equipped with a bottom valve. The inlet pipeline should not have too many bends, and there should be no water or air leakage.
7. The discharge pipeline, such as a check valve, should be installed outside the gate valve.
8. After installation, rotate the pump shaft. If there is friction or jamming of the circular arc gear, the pump should be disassembled to check the cause.

Key point two, startup precautions:
1. Before starting the circular arc gear pump, do not fill the pump with liquid and start it directly.
2. Before starting the circular arc gear pump, fully open the inlet and outlet valves. Starting at zero flow rate requires less power for the pump, which can prevent the motor from burning out due to overload during startup. After the pump is started, gradually adjust the outlet valve to the required flow rate.
3. During the operation of the pump, it is necessary to regularly check the leakage and heating situation of the packing layer, so that tools can be used to adjust it when the pump is stopped.
4. When parking the circular arc gear pump, first turn off the motor and then close the inlet and outlet valves. If the parking time is long, the liquid in the pump and pipeline should be drained completely to avoid rust and winter freezing.
5. When the flow rate needs to be changed, the opening of the pump outlet valve can be adjusted to control it. Although this increases the fluid resistance and requires more power, it can achieve rapid and continuous adjustment of the flow rate, which is suitable for the characteristics of chemical production.
Be careful not to control by adjusting the opening of the pump inlet valve, as this can cause "cavitation" phenomenon. When cavitation occurs, the pump body vibrates and makes noise due to impact, causing a decrease in flow and head, and in severe cases, it cannot work normally.
