1. Installation of stainless steel rotor pump coupling
When installing the coupling, it must be pressed into the drive shaft using a special tool through the threaded hole at the end of the drive shaft, and the coupling cannot be struck with a hammer.
2. Alignment of pump drive shaft and motor
The maximum allowable range of different axial tolerances for two couplings (standard installation);
——Radial offset: 1% (maximum outer diameter)
——Offset angle: ≤ 1 ° 30 ′
For the pump assembly (including the drive device and base), it has been adjusted before leaving the factory. After installing the pump on the foundation, the coupling cover should be removed to check the coaxiality between the pump shaft and the drive shaft (if the foundation is uneven, the bottom will bend after installation, which will cause great danger).
3. Rotation direction
The direction of rotation of the pump is indicated on the label, and the direction of rotation of the pump determines the direction of medium delivery. If a change of direction is required, the consent of the manufacturer or supplier must be obtained.
4. Pressure
The pressure of the pump has been tested and marked on the nameplate before leaving the factory. When selecting a pump, users must consider the compatibility of the pump pressure with the surrounding accessory systems.
5. Pipeline system
When the operation is stopped, a certain amount of medium should be retained in the pipeline connected to the discharge body and suction chamber to lubricate the sealing device during startup, or to rinse the mechanical seal with clean water.
Before installing the pump, clean the pipes connected to the pump.
It must be ensured that no additional force is applied to the pump body after connecting the pipeline. Ensure that the connection bolts between the pump and the base are not affected when connecting the inlet and outlet under the pipeline.
It is necessary to ensure that the vibration of the pipeline does not pose a risk of damaging the pump body.
6. Shaft seal
It is necessary to regularly check the shaft seal and O-ring seal. If there is wear, damage or aging, they should be replaced in a timely manner. If additional accessories are needed, please contact or consult the manufacturer.
7. Connect to electricity
Regarding electrical work, it must be carried out by electrical technicians in accordance with relevant regulations
