Cam rotor jam pump is a volumetric pump specially used for conveying jam

Working Principle
Sealed chamber formation during rotor rotation: There is a pair of cam rotors rotating in opposite directions synchronously within the pump cavity. As the rotors rotate, a series of sealed chambers are formed between the rotors and between the rotors and the inner wall of the pump casing.
Jam suction: When the rotors rotate, the sealed chamber gradually expands at the inlet, creating a negative pressure and generating suction force, thus sucking the jam from the storage container into the pump.
Jam transportation and discharge: As the rotors continue to rotate, the sealed chamber moves the sucked jam towards the outlet. At the outlet, the sealed chamber gradually shrinks, creating a positive pressure that discharges the jam from the pump body, realizing the transportation of the jam.
Structural Features
Unique cam rotor design: Cam rotors with a special shape are adopted, which can form a good seal with the inner wall of the pump casing during the rotation process, effectively preventing jam leakage. At the same time, it reduces the disturbance of the fluid within the pump body, reducing energy consumption and noise.
Wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials: Usually, wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel and polymer materials are selected for manufacturing to adapt to the high viscosity of the jam and its possible acidic properties, etc., ensuring that the performance of the pump will not be affected by wear or corrosion during long-term use.
Multiple connection methods: It provides multiple connection methods such as flange connection, threaded connection, and clamp connection, making it convenient to connect with different pipeline systems and equipment to meet different installation and usage requirements.
Performance Advantages
Strong self-priming ability: Without the need for an additional liquid priming device, it can start quickly and suck the jam from the storage tank at a lower position into the pump. Even if the jam has a high viscosity and poor fluidity, the suction process can be completed smoothly.
High wear resistance: The rotors and the pump casing are made of high-strength wear-resistant materials, which can withstand the wear caused by solid substances such as pulp particles that may be contained in the jam, extending the service life of the pump and reducing the frequency of maintenance and replacement of components.
Low-pulsation transportation: During the transportation of jam, low pulsation can be achieved, allowing the jam to pass through the pipeline smoothly, reducing the impact on the pipeline and subsequent equipment, and helping to ensure the stability and consistency of the jam during the transportation process. It is especially suitable for processes such as jam filling that require high flow stability.
Can transport high-viscosity materials: It can easily handle high-viscosity jam, with a wide applicable viscosity range. It can transport jam with an absolute viscosity of tens of thousands of centipoises or even higher, meeting the transportation requirements of different types and formulations of jam.
Adjustable flow rate: By adjusting the rotation speed of the pump, the transportation flow rate of the jam can be precisely controlled within a certain range. It can be used as a general metering pump to meet the precise requirements of different production processes for the jam flow rate.
Convenient maintenance: The structure is relatively simple, and disassembly and installation are easy, making it convenient to inspect, clean, and replace components of the pump, reducing maintenance costs and downtime, and improving production efficiency.
Application Scenarios
Food processing industry: In addition to being used for the transportation of jam, it can also be used for the transportation of various high-viscosity food materials such as chocolate sauce, syrup, honey, condensed milk, and meat paste, and is suitable for links such as ingredient preparation, filling, and packaging in food production.
Daily chemical industry: It can transport daily chemical products with relatively high viscosity, such as facial cleanser, skin cream, shampoo, and shower gel.
Pharmaceutical industry: In pharmaceutical production, it can be used for transporting pharmaceutical products such as ointments, extracts, medicinal emulsions, and syrups.
